Inspiration palette challenge

It’s time for another challenge over at The House That Stamps Built. This week we were challenged to use the following picture as inspiration.

The starfish just jumped out to me and I went with it.

So, what are you waiting for?!

Why not play along with us and start stamping up a card now. We can’t wait to see your creations!
Don’t forget… Take part in one weekly challenge or all of them. The more you play along, the more chances you have to win! Each submission enters you in the drawing for our gift certificate. And you don’t always have to use our stamps in your creations, but we will reward you if you do. Each submission using a
Repeat Impressions stamp will earn you an additional entry in the drawing!

Also, check out our Rock Star blogs to see what they did with the challenge.

Thanks for the lift

Hello.  Playing in the Freshly Made Sketch challenge today.

I've had this scalloped square cut and sitting in my UCB box for a while now and thought it would work well for the sketch. It's a bit bigger than the sketch calls for, but I was bound and determined to use it. I used tiny foam squares to pop it up off of the main image to give it a bit of dimension/3D look.

Dragon and friends stamp is from C.C. Designs and colored with Copic's.You could use so many different sentiments for this stamp...thanks for the lift, you lift me up, Mother's day...etc.

That is it for today. Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Summer

Hello. Playing in the Addicted to CAS code word Summer today.

Sorry about the sun light filtering in on this one.

Stamps are from Papertrey, Ink. I stamped the polka dot bottoms using limeade pigment ink from Fresh Ink. Matched the card base to the ink color and stamped the sentiments in versafine. Kept it CAS all the way.

It's been too long

Hello. Sharing this Hero Arts Monthly kit stamps from last month using the JUGS trend week challenge. I made a few cards using the June kit, but never posted them until now.

This is inspired by the one Jennifer McGuire made when she was introducing the kit. I blended the inks, cut out the die cut and then went back and blended some more. In hindsight, I should've used a black marker or a dauber with ink on it for coloring the edge where the giraffe halves meet up.

Thanks for stopping in.

From the whole herd

Hello. Playing in a few Anything goes challenges today.

Stamps are from "Your next stamp."  I did a bit of masking to get all the animals in and then colored with Copic's.  Added a bit of glossy accents to each of their eyes, which made this all the more fun.

Challenges:
