Celebrate

Hi everyone! Playing in two challenges today. First up is the 300th challenge post over at Less is More. Theme is Celebration due to the number of posts!  Second up is the monster theme over at Addicted to CAS.

Monster stamp is from Gerda Steiner Designs, stamped in versafine ink, heat embossed with clear ep and colored with Copics.

I used a square stitched die from MFT to cut it out and layered it with bright green to match.

Celebrate die is from SugarPea Designs. I used picked raspberry distress ink to create the ombre effect.

Tiny dot border stamp on the left is from Simon Says Stamp. I used Fresh Ink in pink lemonade to stamp it three times along the side.

Both the main image and the celebrate are popped up using foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by.

Holly

Hi everyone. I just got some new stamps and had to break them out to play.  I started with this weeks Freshly Made Sketch.

I decided to go horizontal so that my fishtail banner would fit.

Stamps are from the Botanical blocks IV from Papertrey, Ink. Stamped it in Versafine and heat embossed with clear embossing powder so that I could color it with Copic's.

Pure Poppy cardstock used for the banner and the strip of red that is around the perimeter.

Red liquid pearls on the holly berries.

Adding this into the Simon Says Stamp anything goes challenge too!

Sketch challenge

Hi all, I'm here with another sketch challenge for The House That Stamps Built.

Here is the sketch - challenging this time around, Huh?

I used the large oak leaf silhouette 5110-I, and stamped it in VersaMark then heat embossed using copper embossing powder.

The "thanks" is a die from Simon Says Stamp. Fishtail banners and the stitched square frame are from My Favorite Things.

The stitched banners are cut from copper cardstock, which is really sparkly in real life. Added some flower cut outs and then heat embossed some white enamel dots with the same embossing powder I used on the leaves. It matched perfectly.

Eyes

Hi everyone. I finally got my latest stamps from SSS and tore into them to play. Here's what I came up with.

I started with the current sketch over at Freshly Made sketches.

Designer paper is from American Crafts. Stamps are from Clearly Besotted and colored with Copic's.

The cool self adhesive googly eyes are from Doodlebug Designs that I picked up at my LSS. They come in many different colors and sizes. So fun!

OK, back to playing with the new goodies. More later.

Photo inspiration

Hi all. It's photo inspiration time over at The House That Stamps Built. Here is the photo.

I used pumpkin stamp from Repeat Impressions and colored it with Copic's.

Fussy cut them out so that I could add them onto the card base that I created using distress inks and the round blending tool.

I did splatter it a bit with water then added some shimmer spritz.

Cats are a die from Impression Obsession and the branches are from Hero Arts My Hero kit from last month. I uused the wreath die and cut it down to form the branches.
